What an utter delight of a game! I really enjoy when a game rewards both meticulous and casual gaming. The game has plenty of opportunities to try and maximize your profits, but easy mechanics to let you just buy whatever is below average cost and sell whatever is above average.
I was actually about to try and grind out the last 5 fishables, but the game crashed. There's a good chance that's a PC issue, but I thought it was worth mentioning for both game function and enjoyability!
Just wondering: Are the other fishes and the living rock and the alien meteorite sentient? Because it seems like the fish are sentient because of the shark dudes dialogue, and the crystal apparently likes feeling valuable, so am I just kidnapping these dudes?
Also, I LOVE THIS GAME! 100% buying it when it gets to Steam!
"Guy" is gendered, not neutral. It's masculine/refers to maleness via masculinity. People tend to conflate common or comfortable slang as being neutral when it just reflects the dominant narrative and status quo: we live under patriarchy, so "male" and "masculinity" are the default hegemonic markers. Default ≠ neutral; it just means erasure of the subordinated. (Meaning, chiefly, females.)
